Liliana Paradiso

About me and my work:
Poets, composers and writers explore humanity with words and notes. Artists use color, shape and the nuances of light to tell their story. The rhythm and shape of the human form is my first love, and the easiest way to express my own part of the human story. If you find a sense of solitude and desolation, it is because these are things that have been with me always. When you find a sense of whimsy in the work...that is part of my experience as well. Those are the bridges that connect me to you. Passing shadows, facial expressions describe the experiences of a lifetime. I would like you to see the life that is beating inside of me through my choice of color. Whether pastel or oil, the choice is usually spontaneous and instinctive.
Shadows and color change from moment to moment...the same as one's mood. If my work can compel you to stop and look, I hope you will see just one moment, and have it last a lifetime.
